  Rita is the President and CEO of Specialized Wound Management and has more than 11 years of experience in long term care. Rita founded S.W.M. to satisfy a need for wound care intervention in Skilled Nursing Facilities. Rita has a background in Occupational Therapy, Orthotics, and Geriatrics.

 

 

Jeffrey A. Niezgoda, M.D., FACEP, FACHM
Medical Director
  Dr. Niezgoda is the Medical Director for Specialized Wound Management and has extensive experience in the fields of Wound Care, Hyperbaric Medicine, and Emergency Medicine. Dr. Niezgoda also serves as the Medical Director for the Centers for Comprehensive Wound Care and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy at St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is also the President of Hyperbaric & Wound Care Associates, a medical speciality group comprised of physician and nurse practitioner wound care experts. H.W.C.A. currently staffs hyperbaric and wound care programs in 6 acute care hospitals and 2 long-term care facilities, with annual patient visits exceeding 40,000. Dr. Niezgoda is Board Certified in both Hyperbaric Medicine and Emergency Medicine, with fellowship training in Hyperbaric and Wound Care.
